For Christmas Diane and Allen suprised me and the kids (I say that cause everyone thought I knew but I didn't.. hehe which I was just as excited) with a trip to DISNEYLAND!! Who doesn't love the happiest place on earth.. I was so excited as were the kids! A fun family trip where everybody would be goin. I was so excited to go with the kids cause I haven't been there with kids since my little sisters were little so probably 10 years! We had so much fun and it was so much fun to see what the kids thought. We stayed right across the street from Disneyland so it was so nice after a long, fun day to just walk across the street to our hotel. I wish we could have stayed for a YEAR!! ok maybe not that long but we all had so much fun. Thank you Allen and Diane so much! It will be so fun to look back at the memories and i'm sure the kids will remember it their whole lives!! Love you:)

Grandpa Blad:)

Couple weeks ago Jake and I and Jared, Shannon, and cutest
Brogen went home to Kanosh to visit gramps. Seriously my
grandpa is the ULTIMATE!! I have been so blessed to grow
up livin blocks away from him gettin to see him at every birthday
party, ball games, family nights up the canyon, football game
parties at my house and just around town. My grandpa Carl Blad
is 92 (possibly 93) He is now living at the hospital which
my dad works there so he gets to check on him everyday.
My grandpa is not doinso good so thats why we made a special trip
up there and Jared and Shannon wanted to get a 4 generation
picture (isn't it so cute). That day was so hard for me. I didn't know
if that would be my last day seeing him. Thats always so hard when
your family gets older you just never know when that will be the
last time you see them. We kept puttin it off and puttin it off of goin
to visit him but my mom was like "nat you might not have even a
couple days" and granted that was like 3 weeks ago but ya just never
know what to expect. I know it meant so much to my grandpa that
we came up to see him. Grandpa had never seen Brogen before and he
was just lovin him. The whole time we were there I just kept staring
at him and thinkin back on all the memories I have had with him.
He is one of the greatest men I know coming from the bottom of my heart.
I just could not fight back the tears and I let them flow. When I hugged
him goodbye I kissed him and told him I loved him and in his little
soft voice he said I love you to hunny...... and he paused...... the
mostest....... ahhhhhh oh my gosh I lost it after that. That meant so
much to me!! I love him so much and of course when he passes on it
will be so sad but I'm so excited for him to be with my grandma again
( she died in 1995). What an awesome reunion that will be... I love
you Grandpa Blad!!!

is a husband who regards his
companion as his greatest asset and
treats her accordingly;
where there is a wife who looks upon
her husband as her anchor and strength.
The cultivation of such a home
requires effort and energy,
forgiveness and patience,
Love,

but it is worth all of these and more."....
