Briggs blessing

    Briggs blessing could not have been more perfect! Jake did an absolute amazing job!I immediately got emotional the moment we walked into the church.. I was really stressed out for Paisleys that i didnt invite the spirit so with briggs thats all i could think about..and man it was there!  I was so grateful for all the people that traveled far to be there..meant so much to me! After the blessing it was fast and testimony and so I went up and bore mine and pretty much just cried the whole time.. the spirit was so strong.
   Briggs was blessed on January 6, 2013 in the Bountiful Val Verda 4th ward. He was blessed as Briggs Jacob Dyreng by his daddy Jake Dyreng. Some of the things Jake blessed him with was..
   *That he would live a happy, healthy life
   *He would be an example to others and uplift others
   *He would serve an honorable mission
   *When the time comes that he may be able to find someone that he can take to the temple and be married in the temple.
   * That he will be wise and honest in all of his doings.

So grateful to have a husband who honors his preisthood and that he is able to bless our children.. not just with a name but as we go along with our lives and anytime that the kids may need a fathers blessing. I'm so greatful for this gospel and for the many blessing that the lord had blessed my own personal life and my families life. On a funnier note.. Jake said we wont be having another blessing for 5 more years haha.. will see.....

..."I believe in the family where there
is a husband who regards his
companion as his greatest asset and
treats her accordingly;
where there is a wife who looks upon
her husband as her anchor and strength.
The cultivation of such a home
requires effort and energy,
forgiveness and patience,
Love,
and, endurance, and sacrifice;
but it is worth all of these and more."....
